We are forced to fit into their cookie cutter molds.  Our business just doesn't work that way. 

Royal Shredding is a customer service oriented enterprise.  We are large enough to cover most of your information management needs, while still being small enough to be adaptable to your specific requirements.

No one answers the phone.

We have live service staff answering your telephone call; not an automated machine.  Our service reps are prepared to answer your questions on the spot. On the rare occasion when all of our service staff are occupied on the phone, please just leave your name and number, and we will call you back as soon as someone becomes free.

We don't want to deal with a head office in another country.  We want a local service provider.

Royal Shredding is a locally owned, family run company that services only South Western Ontario. For your convenience, we provide local phone numbers in much of our service area.  In order that you receive the highest level personal service, these phone numbers are answered at our head office.  The service staff will then answer your questions and direct the call appropriately. Since we are primarily a mobile service, many locations do not have manned offices accessible to the public.  This helps keep our prices lower.  As we grow, offices, employees, and equipment are added to strategically enhance the service for our clients. 

We are only a number to them.

Customer service is our priority.  We specialize in
providing great service at reasonable prices to
small to medium sized companies and individuals. 
We do have some very large clients but our specialty
is the smaller businesses.  Everyone deserves to be
treated Royally!

We booked an appointment with them twice but they never showed up.

Our employees genuinely care about service.  It is our policy that we will call you if we will be more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled service time.  Our mobile units are equipped with GPS units so that our dispatcher can monitor timing, and will relay to you any delay so that we don't waste your time.  There are few things more annoying than someone leaving you waiting and wondering.

They want to lock us into a three year contract that only benefits them.

We make available to everyone our Annual Agreement.  The only requirements of the client under this agreement are common sense; no hazardous materials, reasonable access to collect materials, and payment for services rendered.  In return, the client gets a very one sided contract that binds Royal Shredding to comply with every recommendation of the Ontario Information and Privacy Commissioner's office and NAID AAA Certification requirements.  Should an information breach occur, this contract is an exceptionally valuable asset in any resulting litigation.  It also locks our prices in for a year, and guarantees that you will get advance notice of any price increases beyond the year.  And yet, you may cancel service at any time.  We firmly believe that our service speaks for itself and that if you are unhappy for any reason, you should not be compelled to use our service.

During business hours, we strive to have every call answered by a live staff member.  We answer all email enquiries within one business day.  For your peace of mind, we have taken many steps to ensure that "we protect your privacy".  Royal Shredding is NAID AAA Certified for mobile document destruction.  Our off-site facility has the RCMP Protected B status clearance.  Our employees have extensive training, drug testing, local police and RCMP clearance, contractual security obligations, and must follow strict company policies and procedures.   Our practices are reviewed and updated regularly.

Value for your dollar

Our service is certainly not the most expensive; nor is it the cheapest.  One must look beyond price to see the true value. 

Without hiring a NAID Certified service provider or performing an extensive security audit yourself, you really have nothing to protect you once you hand over your information.  There have been numerous incidents of materials being turned over to supposed "shredders", only to have the documents mysteriously appear intact in the public domain. The reputation of these businesses is what was really shredded! Please don't make this mistake.
